
THESSEN IP Selected as the Dedicated IP Law Firm for the Korea Institute of Fusion Energy (KFE)
THESSEN International Patent & Law Office ("THESSEN IP") has been selected as the 'Dedicated Patent Law Firm for Intellectual Property Rights' for the Korea Institute of Fusion Energy (KFE).
This selection is the result of a rigorous evaluation process through KFE's patent management services procurement. Having passed the technical screening and capability assessment, THESSEN IP will be exclusively responsible for identifying core employee inventions and managing patent administration for KFE.
For two years, from September 2025 to September 2027, THESSEN IP will serve as KFE's partner for intellectual property (IP) creation and protection, performing the following key roles:

Conducting consulting for employee inventions (invention interviews).
Exclusively managing administrative tasks such as IP application, amendment, and registration.
Supporting domestic and international filings and dispute responses.
Cooperating on annuity management and the dissemination of research outcomes.
Through the selection of a dedicated firm, KFE plans to systematically secure rights for its research achievements in the advanced fusion technology sector and expand its technology commercialization results.
